Student Mental Health Advocates

Did you know 1,100 graduate and undergraduate students die by suicide in U.S. each year?  Mental health concerns can feel taboo but only through education and advocacy can more individuals, families, and communities benefit from mental health services.

  • Are you passionate about mental wellness?
  • Do you care about the mental health of your peers and colleagues?
  • Do you want to help students recognize and address life concerns?

Consider becoming a Mental Health Advocate.  These peer educators help to better hear and address the needs of Touro students.  Each year we will work together to make sure relevant issues are appropriately addressed.  For more information contact the Mental Health Club (
