Office of Student Success

Students sometimes feel overwhelmed with the amount of information they must learn to be successful in graduate school while managing their personal wellness.  Many students who were very successful in their undergraduate studies find themselves struggling with the demands of graduate school.  Academic Support is available to provide students with research proven strategies to efficiently learn the material necessary to be successful at Touro University while managing their personal wellness.

We work with students one on one to create a strengths-based approach to learning and wellness.  Together we create an individual plan to suit your needs.  Our goal is to work with students to create a balanced approach to learning and overall wellness.

Office of Student Success - Tutoring

Whether you are a new student or a returning one, tutoring services are available to students desiring to improve their academic performance. We offer both one on one tutoring and drop-in tutoring in the study halls.  Tutors also provide workshops on study apps and study strategies to support this learning community.

If you are interested in becoming a peer tutor, please reach out to us.  Peer tutoring is a federal work study position and open to students in good academic standing who are eligible for financial aid.

If you are interested in receiving peer tutoring services, please fill out the Tutor Request Form on this page and send it to prosengr@touro.edu.  Most students are matched with a tutor within a week.
